Disappointed in Season 10

Don’t come for me Queens- but this season really disappointed me. Karomo backing out of the press tour at the last second was just the beginning.

The fact that it was the last one and we all knew this ahead of time was already hard. Top with it being the shortest regular season did not help. Only five episodes- really?? Every other regular season had at least 8 episodes. To me it felt like they slapped the five episodes together and called it a wrap. It was worse than the mini season they did in Japan.

I am sure it was because of the infighting and other shenanigans…but at the end of the day, these guys were still getting paid to do a season and be professional. Yes I know it’s not always fun, rainbows, and lollipops…but neither is work or any of our regular lives either. So the full press tour is essentially going to fizzle out. The heroes will get a flashlight on their stories versus the normal pomp and circumstance of other seasons. The hosts all have other gigs or events lined up to do so they don’t really care how this ends.

All of this just falls really flat. I loved this show. I have watched every season and every episode many times over. To have this be the last season and only five episodes…was sooo anticlimactic. Sadly the only one I will continue to follow is Jeremiah- but I have been watching him for many years. It’s just a sad way to end such a cherished series.

If Netflix and Scout ever want to do another season of something it should be Jeremiah’s show “Say I Do” ! They only did one season and that is definitely a show that everyone who watches falls in love with! In fact I am begging them to bring this show back….pretty please?! 😁
