Upcoming Union Budget expectations

Last year around Diwali, GST cuts were announced by the government to boost spending. This move mainly benefits the lower class.

Corporate tax has been consistently low and this benefit the upper class.

What the middle class got last year was the peanuts in terms of slab changes.

Now after the GST changes, and the overall reduction in tax income, I have a feeling taxes might actually go up this year for middle class.

Why is it so easy to squeeze the middle class, just because they are not a vote bank. And why no other class speaks for it even though middle class supporters poor, farmers, businessmen, etc.

Is the government not at all worried about the exodus of the middle class?
