How many of the players are real people?

Ive been playing for a week or 2 and it feels like most aren't, when i started playing i immidietly declared 4 or 5 wars, but none of my enemies did any major attacks and it feels too easy for them to be actual people, so are they? Or are they like 90% bots?

Also i'm playing as west mexico, i pressed "random country" for it, is west mexico just op?
