Why is it impossible to find window treatments that are not gray polyester?

I recently decided to overhaul my small kitchen. It has been a boring white box for three years and I finally painted the cabinets a soft sage green. I have this vision of a warm, cottage vibe that feels welcoming. I am so tired of the modern minimalist look that every big box store pushes. I just want my space to have character.

The problem is finding the finishing touches without spending a fortune. I have been hunting for window treatments that fit this aesthetic. I went to all the usual stores and everything was either heavy blackout material with ugly metal grommets or cheap plastic sheers. I tried thrifting but I only found stained fabrics. I got frustrated and started looking at where boutique shops actually get their inventory. I spent hours comparing photos and spotted some Alibaba lace kitchen curtains that looked identical to a handmade set I saw on pinterest. But the lace was faded gray. I really need something that looks delicate and classic. Has anyone found a reliable source for vintage style linens that are decent quality? I am willing to pay a fair price but I refuse to get ripped off. I just want my kitchen to finally look finished so I can genuinely enjoy my morning coffee in peace.
