The sun blazed over Dazar’alor’s golden pyramids, turning the air thick and honey-sweet. Magistrix Sylvara Dawnweave had traded Silvermoon’s frost-kissed spires for Zandalari heat, her vacation a deliberate escape from courtly robes and endless arcane ledgers. She wore only a gauzy crimson sarong that clung to sweat-slick skin, silver hair braided with tiny sunstone beads.

Her guide waited at the Great Seal’s base: Korgul, an orc built like a siege engine left to bake in the jungle. Broad green shoulders gleamed with oil and ritual scars; a single tusk curved from a crooked, easy grin. His loincloth of cured raptor hide barely contained him. “Welcome to de city dat never sleeps, elf,” he rumbled, voice like distant thunder over surf. “Name’s Korgul. You look like you need some proper heat.”

Sylvara arched a brow, lips curling. “I’ve handled worse than tropical sun, orc. Show me something… hotter.”

He led her through spice markets and ziggurat steps, pointing out loa shrines while his amber eyes kept sliding to the sway of her hips. By the time they reached the shaded infinity pool carved into the cliffs above the harbor, flirtation had burned into something primal.

“You stare like you’ve never seen an elf before,” she teased, letting the sarong slip to her ankles.

“Never seen one who looks like dessert,” Korgul growled, stepping close enough that she felt the furnace of his body. One massive hand cupped her jaw; the other dragged down her spine. She tasted salt and jungle fruit on his tongue.

They didn’t make it to a bed.

He lifted her against the warm stone wall, her legs wrapping his waist as he sank into her with a slow, deliberate thrust that stole her breath. She clawed green shoulders, moaning into his neck while waves crashed far below. He fucked her there until she shattered, then carried her—still impaled—to the pool’s edge.

Water sluiced over them as he took her again, slower this time, letting her ride the thick length of him while sunlight painted their joined bodies gold. Later, sprawled on sun-warmed moss beneath palm fronds, he spread her thighs and buried his face between them until she screamed his name to the sky.

By dusk she lay boneless across his chest, skin marked with tusks and fingerprints, sated in a way no spellbook ever taught.

“Vacation’s just begun,” Korgul murmured, tracing the curve of her ear.

Sylvara smiled, lazy and wicked. “Then show me every inch of this city, guide. Starting tonight.”
