Since I mostly play Brawl, these are cards that have been really good for me so far.

\[\[Champions of the Shoal\]\]

I am playing a janky little B/G/W merfolk deck currently, and this card has been immensely powerful so far. You get it out on turn 3 and you have a beefy body on the field. A stun on a big body is surprisingly effective, and it allows me constantly to get quite a bit of damage in. Strangely people seem hesitant to destroy this creature, probably because I get back the merfolk that is attached to it.

\[\[Bitterbloom Bearer\]\]

I threw together a mono black deck and the amount of damage this little guy pushes is unreal. It's a constant ping, a constant stream of little blockers that help me build my board. I love this guy so much, I consider getting his full art even. Throw in a \[\[Bitterblossom\]\] for good measure, and things happen! (don't forget to have some life link/gain in the deck though. You need it)

\[\[Hexing Squelcher\]\]

Nyehehehehehehehehe

\[\[Formidable Speaker\]\]

People said this is busted. Yeah, you're right. One of the 5 cards that keep my awful merfolk deck successful.

\[\[Sygg's Command\]\]

You guys, YOU GUYS! This is so good. The amount of times this card healed me to 50HP is unreal. If you have a couple of creatures on the board, can get the attack through, it really makes a difference.

Mention of disappointment: \[\[Moonshadow\]\]

Eh, I had expected a lot more from this card.

So, what about you? What cards did stand out for you so far?

Stand Out Cards of Lorwyn Eclipsed for you so far?
