Are Jay-Z and Beyoncé the biggest indipendent artists in the world?

I just saw an interview with LaRussell, a big independent artist, who said that Jay-Z is the only REALLY independent artist because he owns both the label AND the distribution company.

I know that Beyoncé also has her own company, Parkwood, owns all her masters, but I don’t think she has a proper label.

Do you know any other artists in the world who have that kind of resources?
