Help with Nepal first time - which trek?

Hi all, just looking for any updated recommendations on Nepal treks for anyone who has done any recently. Struggling to decide after months of research!

I'll be trekking from mid April and don't have a time limit. I had decided on Annapurna Circuit although after reading about crowds this time of year and the track itself being "90% road" I am now reconsidering.

So, are the crowds and the fact its mostly road that bad? If so what would you recommend for a relatively fit first-timer? (not looking to go any higher that AC)

Is the weather still good for the region or is it largely unpredictable now for April/May? - A forum had suggested the dust in April is horrendous on AC and therefore so were the views

I'm looking to get my money's worth in terms of views and culture, and don't have a timeframe so happy to consider different options but nothing harder than AC. I also don't mind the trail being social as I'll be going solo, but not if its busy enough to take away from the experience and surroundings.

Am I overthinking it and AC is just worth it despite the potential drawbacks? Or biting off more than I can chew in the first place?
