Should Ex Reach Out After Parent's Death?

We were together for 9 years, living for the last 3. She knew my mom quite well.

We have been broken up for 2 years, and my mom died recently. I'm sure she must have heard through mutual friends, yet I haven't heard a peep from the ex.

Is it unreasonable to expect condolences from an ex who haven't spoken to in 2 years, even though you were together for almost a decade, and they knew your recently deceased parent well?
