About the Project

A long-form, fully voiced adaptation of The Walking Dead comics presented in a TV-style episode format with cinematic sound design. Season 1 is currently in production.

Role: Allen

Allen is a survivor from the Atlanta camp and a husband and father trying to keep his family safe during the collapse of civilization. He represents an ordinary person forced into survival — grounded, realistic, and human.

• Age: Early 30s
• Pre-apocalypse job: Shoe salesman
• Family-oriented
• Practical and cautious

Character Tone & Performance Direction

Allen should sound:

• Natural and conversational
• Slightly worn down or stressed
• Protective and serious
• More “everyday survivor” than action hero

This character carries quiet tension rather than dramatic intensity.

Voice Requirements

• Adult male voice (30s range)
• Grounded, realistic delivery
• Clear microphone quality (minimal background noise)

Role Scope

Allen appears throughout the early portion of the story and is listed as appearing in 21 comic issues. Because this is an adaptation, dialogue frequency varies.

• Appears on-screen starting Episode 2
• First speaking lines begin in Episode 3
• Does not speak in every episode he appears in
• Recording is only required when the character has dialogue
