People wearing MAGA caps in Germany?

For context, I am in Dresden and I keep seeing some people regularly wearing red MAGA caps. I’ve bumped multiple times in a guy wearing one all the time especially around the Hauptbanhof. I don’t understand what is the point? Is it to get a reaction from someone? Truly baffled by the motive.

How common is it in your opinion in other cities?
