Reserve Soldier choosing to commission as Reserve Officer - a few questions

Afternoon all,

I'm a Ph1 trained Reserve Soldier thinking about applying to commission. Just had a few questions, if anybody had done this before or knew of somebody who had.

1. What is the process? I assume speak to my ReMso or PSI and they would load me onto an AOSB briefing?

2. I understand that in the Regs, commissioning from the ranks usually carries with it a forced change of capbadge. Is this the same in the Reserves?

3. What were your general thoughts pre and post? Did you regret it, or were there any challenges you didn't anticipate?
