rlly hoping it's okay to post this, read rules but kindly lmk if it's inappropriate

not trying to give sob story, just giving brief explanations so comments do not suggest solutions that have been attempted or aren't an option. will keep this short and to the point

i am planning to escape an abusive parent. my entire family is something else. i only speak to one cousin and even then i'm careful as they share my information without my consent. they are loved but cannot be trusted fully. im even no contact with a sibling. super violent and scares me. im so glad they moved out.

i currently am recently unemployed, sucks bc previous job was promising and could've helped a lot. no use dwelling tho. gotta keep going.

i have a dog that i want to TEMPORARILY re-home using Home - Home To Home Animal Adoption https://share.google/u8obpiEc7dC39TIXb and was wondering if anyone knows much about this site and if it actually helps. ive got horrific trust issues and im terrified someone won't give my dog back once im ready.

shelters ive tried that horrifically traumatized me more (i could seriously write a novel): gospel rescue, sister joses, salvation, our family services, and a level 2 facility. it may appear that im ungrateful or the issue is myself for trying these and it fails. it is not. darkness has a way of finding me. nonetheless im highly resilient. there was a shelter transitional living i was on the wait-list for that seemed amazing and they called me to inform me i got in but i did not receive the voicemail until a month later and was horrified i missed it. very stupid of me but i can't dwell.

im planning to start packing, can't do much right now it's the weekend so the parent is home. m-f 8:00am-4:00pm are my safe hours to prepare.

once my dog is safe and temporarily re-homed i will leave. sadly no vehicle but pretty familiar with public transit. ill be packing a bag.

sadly no friends to stay with but i have friends who can store my belongings so will be doing that.

unfortunately have a ton of chronic illnesses but mainly nerve damage, chronic pain, and i faint a lot or get dizzy. used to be able to work physically demanding jobs but sadly can't anymore. i have a resume and lengthy job experience so ill be rummaging around for a job suitable for my needs. but i completely understand i can't be super picky. pls understand i cannot put my health at risk by accepting a job i know i cant physically take on.

because ill be on foot and just having my backpack ill need areas that are safe. i have a hotspot, and i have an active gateway box but unsure if it'll connect when plugged in different areas. plus it's way too expensive to continue but i will need my phone and i do have my laptop. im super fortunate honestly. phone service on until the 14th of next month and might possibly be able to get paid another month i shall see. especially if i obtain a job. part time is full doesn't matter.

only way out of the mud is thru it. i cannot live like this anymore. my dog and i but especiallyyyy my dog deserve peace. thank you.
