Which phone to get ? :)

Hello people, I'm looking to upgrade from my Poco X3 pro that has been serving me well since 2021.

I find new phones expensive and not offering much for their price tag (above 1k€/$/£)

I am looking to get a used old flagship. Currently eyeing these two devices:

• s24 ultra 1tb
• iPhone 15 pro max 256gb

Both are at the same price.

I'm an android person but I wanna give iPhones a chances and perhaps get into apple ecosystem (looking to get a MacBook in the future).

However, the s24u value here is just greater and would serve me well since I'm going to be travelling and needing a phone to share hotspot to my pc (don't know if iPhones still can only share to iOS devices).

One other thing I'm interested in is the camera. I'll be traveling like I said and want to take cool pics. My friend having an iPhone 15 pro take gorgeous pics that he shares on socials and they are just ..chefs kiss. Will the s24u be doing the same ?

FYI I have alr bought s23u from a European marketplace and I had returned it because it was sold as new but it was a refurb and the screen had issues with dark mode. Returned it. But the phone was not that bad, battery was the only thing I was thinking about but I guess it was just calibrating so it drained super fast.

There are phones with latest gen snapdragon at the price tags of these phones but I'm looking for more than the xhipset and honestly my Poco X3 pro can still perform really well when it comes to app and stuff. (I have 3 seconds to spare opening an app but not a month's salary) So I guess snapdragon 8 gen 2 is ok.

Can you please help a brother out ?

TL Dr ; help choosing a phone thanks !
