Cursed Technique: Component Sorcery
Cursed technique: Component sorcery.
Through this cursed technique, the sorcerer can channel their cursed energy through objects or 'components' in order to create effects similar to other techniques.
E.g.
Vial of acid: makes an acid arrow/projectile filled with cursed energy that erodes whatever it hits at an accelerated rate.
Crushed leaves: Slows the momentum of either the sorcerer or someone they touch. Usually used to negate taking damage from falling a large distance.
Bird feathers: Creates a gust of wind accelerated to extreme speeds using cursed energy. Able to throw someone from windspeed alone.
Lighter fluid: Allows the sorcerer to shoot a continuous stream of fire from their hands. Once the stream stops, the lighter fluid is consumed.
Etc.
Downsides: Not only does the sorcerer have to carry and retrieve components from wherever they store them mid-battle.
But once they use a component to fuel an ability, the component is consumed, destroyed by the cursed energy expended to activate the technique.
Upsides:
Sheer versatility: Component sorcery is able to be applied effectively in a wide range of situations so long as they remain well stocked on components.
Scaling: Component sorcery's technique effects range in potency on two factors: . Curse energy outputted, like most techniques.
. And component quality, the higher the quality of the components used, the more cursed energy can be imbued into them to activate the technique.
E.g: More caustic acid, purer lighter fluid, feathers from a rare bird.
CURSED TECHNIQUE REVERSAL: . Component sorcery's cursed technique reversal is the ability to duplicate components using positive energy.
. Similar to the Construction technique, energy is used to create something from nothing.
. However it has limitations: . Only components for known applications of the technique can be created.
. One must already have a copy of the created component on their person in order to replicate it.
. It suffers from the same cursed energy efficiency issues as the Construction Technique.
