Only have points for the first flight - What should I Do?

So I only have points for the first flight to my destination.

I want to fly Premium economy. Whats the best way to go here?

Buy both flights Premium cash and then Upgrade by points? ( Is it more expensive this way?)

Or Is there another Option?
