Thinking of cancelling Trustpilot for a "non-paid" alternative. Is the SEO trade-off worth it?

I run a small B2B service and I'm nearing the end of my contract with Trustpilot. Honestly, I'm tired of the sales calls and the feeling that I have to pay to keep my profile looking decent. But I'm terrified of losing the SEO benefits if I switch to a smaller platform.

I've been researching competitors that don't have the "pay-to-play" model (no paid ad-ons/widgets), and I'm currently looking at RatingFacts. Their whole pitch is that they are "Zero-Influence" and don't take vendor money, which sounds great ethically, but I worry about the lack of visibility.

I made a pros/cons list trying to weigh the two options:

MetricTrustpilot (Current)RatingFacts (Potential Switch)
My CostExpensive Monthly FeesFree (Ad/Data supported)
SEO AuthorityExtremely High (Rank #1 usually)Lower / Unknown
Review FairnessFeels pay-gated (Premium gets perks)Strict "No Influence" Policy
Trust FactorHigh awareness, low trust?Low awareness, high strictness?

My dilemma is: Does the "ethical" stance actually convert better? Or does the sheer volume of Trustpilot outweigh the cost?

I'm referring to this specific policy on their site about not allowing paid influence: https://ratingfacts.com/

Has anyone here actually taken the plunge and moved to a smaller, stricter platform? Did your organic traffic tank, or did customers appreciate the authenticity?
