If I get 1 month of Extra, will I be able to get the discount for the full year after trying to cancel?

Hi everyone.

I was just wondering if anyone without an active subscription has tried subscribing for just 1 month and then attempting to cancel it to see if they receive the discount applicable to the full 12 months?

My Extra subscription ended in December. I cancelled the auto-renewal a few days before it ended, and so far I haven’t received any offer like the ones that have been appearing in other posts since yesterday.
