Has anyone else ever felt overwhelmed by their emotions… and didn’t know how to stop it?

discussion

I’ve been reading a lot of posts here, and honestly… many of them feel very familiar.

That moment when emotions rise so fast that you can’t think clearly.

You react, or shut down, or say things you don’t mean — and later you’re left with guilt, confusion, and self-blame.

For a long time, I believed this meant I was “too emotional”.

But I learned something important:

when emotions take over, it’s often not a weakness — it’s the nervous system trying to protect you.

What helped me most wasn’t forcing calm or positive thinking.

It was understanding how to create safety in the body first, especially in intense moments.

I actually wrote a small free guide about this — not to sell anything, and not to promote anything.

I wrote it simply because I wish someone had explained this to me earlier.

If you feel like this topic speaks to you, and you think it could help you too,

you can just send me a message and I’ll share it with you.

No pressure at all.

I just want it to reach the people who might need it.

Take care 🤍
