Keyboard + Mouse config on an iPad

Hello. So the game runs well on iOS / iPad OS but not on Mac. I am wondering if it is possible to get a full M+KB experience. You can attach a mouse via Bluetooth and the Magic Keyboard actually works with WASD but other butttons (left and right click, space bar, escape, etc) do not work.

Attaching a controller via USB works too (I use a Gamesir) but would rather play M+KB when mobile since I primarily play on PC.
