New iOS26 messing with all my phone settings! Advice needed?

Hey everyone! I hope someone can help me here. This new update is a mess in general if you ask me but one issue I’m having (amongst many) is in Apple Books. The update changed how the page transitions work, the settings for this has moved into the main settings app which is fine. My issue is when I change it to curl/scroll etc it doesn’t actually change in the books. Anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks
