Practical marks — scared my school will screw me over

Emotional Support💓

Hi everyone,
I’m a Class 10 ICSE student and honestly really stressed right now.

My school has a history of not giving fair practical marks. I’m a topper academically, and my subject teachers genuinely like me and appreciate my work.

The problem is my principal and his wife (who’s also involved in school administration). There are personal grudges from their side, and because of that I’m really worried they’ll reduce my practical marks intentionally.

What makes this worse is that the principal doesn’t even seem to care much about results. Our school’s overall ICSE results for the last 3 years have been only in the 80s, so reputation or high scores don’t really seem to be a priority. Seniors have told me that even if teachers give good internal marks, the principal deducts them before final submission.

That’s what’s scaring me the most. I don’t think I’ll even get 15/20 despite doing well, just because of personal bias. I’ve worked really hard all year, and it feels horrible knowing something so important might be affected by school politics rather than performance.

Has anyone else from ICSE faced something like this?

Any advice or experiences would really help. Thanks.
