Jobs weren’t paying enough. So Five college dropouts started taking up any Excel work they could find
We were doing what everyone tells you to do. College, part-time work, side hustles, trying to “build a future.” But at the end of every month, the feeling was the same. A lot of effort, very little money, and no real control over our time.
It wasn’t that we didn’t want to work. We were working hard. The problem was that the work wasn’t paying enough to justify the time and stress. So we took a risk that most people advised against. We dropped out and decided to look for work directly, instead of waiting for jobs to slowly improve.
While talking to small business owners and freelancers, we noticed one common problem everywhere "Excel". Data was scattered, records were messy, sales were tracked randomly, finances were unclear, and business owners were spending hours doing work that could easily be handled by someone else. Most of them didn’t need expensive software. They just needed someone reliable to handle their Excel work properly.
That’s how we started Workovia.
To be very clear, we are not trying to act premium or selective. We are open to any kind of Excel work, whether it’s big or small. Business-related or personal. One-time task or ongoing support. From simple data entry to managing sales sheets, cleaning old Excel files, creating reports, dashboards, invoices, inventory sheets, or basic financial tracking. We do all of it.
Our goal is simple: take Excel work off your plate so you can save time and focus on what actually matters to you. We keep our pricing affordable because we are still building, learning, and looking for consistent work. We don’t overcomplicate things. You tell us what you need in Excel, and we handle it.
Honestly, we’re posting this because we need work, experience, and long-term clients. If you’re tired of dealing with Excel yourself or just want someone dependable to handle it for you, feel free to comment or message us. Even small tasks are welcome.
