Anyone got any advice on getting back with your ex?

I’m not interested in the whole ‘she’s your ex for a reason’ whatever. And I am aware that it probably won’t happen and she will stay my ex and I plan to reach out when I’m at a point where I can say I am okay if she doesn’t want to re connect.

But I basically want to know if anyone has any advice on how they were able to do it and show your her that you can change and be the man she deserves.

For context we broke up because my communication was lacking and I didn’t reach out much when we were home from uni which made her feel alone and she thought the long distance wouldn’t work.

I know if I was given another chance I could communicate right and give her what she deserves.
