Boosted Hunter Pets

If I boost a hunter, does the pet also boost to level 58?

If yes, then does he get upgraded abilities to match his level, or does he keep the low-level bite, claw, etc?

Same question about pets in the stable.

What if I boost a hunter who doesn’t currently have a pet? Does he get a default pet?
