Prospective WLW client- GFE questions: Norms, fit, comfort? (Not sourcing)
I’m a cis WLW client, trying to understand GFE-style companionship from a client-side, harm-reduction perspective, informed by provider norms. Most public discussion I have found around GFE (both sexual and non sexual) seems to assume a cis, heterosexual, male identifying client.
What I’m trying to understand is how things can look different when the client is a single cis sapphic woman like myself.
I split my time between the SouthWest and New England, so hoping for geographically relevant answers as well. I assume there will be strong regional variation with queer / WLW providers
Anyways, I’d really appreciate any general insight on the below:
• How do you think about or define a successfully GFE situation when the client is sapphic, rather than a man?
• Are there common assumptions or etiquette sapphic clients should be aware of?
• From a queer providers perspective, what helps a WLW client communicate interest and boundaries respectfully and clearly without putting pressure on or assuming orientation?
• Are there common assumptions providers may make about dynamics when the client is WLW, and is it generally helpful for a client to clarify preferences early to avoid misalignment?
• Finally, cost wise should a cis wlw client expect the same pricing and rate structure equivalent to what is charged for cis het men? I figure financial variables are essentially equivalent?
Thank you for any perspective you’re willing to share, and for the effort you all put into this safe space :)
