I have worldwide patents, should I Kickstarter this new personal-mobility product?

I hate how mobility-scooters and powered wheelchairs, seat you so low, and make you move in such an un-agile way, so I designed this new product to delete the stigma I felt as a skateboarder who now has to use a mobility-aid.

and here's me using the basic Mk1 prototype a few years ago

You'll notice it doesn't have a backrest or arm-supports, but I can ride my prototype for 2-3 hours and never feel fatigued, because I'm doing proactive (handsfree control) movement rather than trying to 'chase' the vehicle like you're doing when it's joystick or handlebar-controlled.
I appreciate that must sound counter-intuitive, but I've spent four years testing this with an NHS OT who specialises in ergonomics and assistive-tech.
Let me know what you think, or if you have any questions. BTW the target price is $2990, it weighs about 15Kg (at the moment - could go lighter with better materials).
I'm thinking of doing a Kickstarter campaign, to build the first 100 units.
