The show should have been animated.

You know, I haven't heard many people talk about this, but I really think Percy Jackson would've been way better if it was animated. I mean, how do you even do "Sea of Monsters" without any monsters? Seriously, the show just can't seem to show off the fantasy stuff. Luke's boat was supposed to be packed with all sorts of monsters. And Argus, was not mention or seen. The hippocampi were only shown super far away, just their top halves, and no one even rode them. Heck, the Mist is barely a thing, and the Golden Fleece didn't even turn into a Letterman jacket like in the book. The only thing I can say the movies did right was actually making the fantasy elements feel real. If the show was animated, all those live-action problems wouldn't exist, and it would've been so much easier to see all the fantastical settings.
