Disappointed in my ending in warvle of a smitten knight *MINOR SIDE QUEST SPOILERS*

So before I say anything I should tell you that I am a perfectionist, I absolutely can't stand if there is anything incomplete or wrong with any of my runs in a game, I don't want to do it but I just can't stand it. Now I have finished warble of a smitten knight and got the ending with the egg shell method where they will both end up separated which I think is the worse ending and I had no idea that the decision that influenced the ending was to tell Guillaume about Vivienne's curse. I thought that if I promised her that I wouldn't tell anybody I should keep the promise, but now after finishing the quest I hate it and I wonder if I should load the save and start the quest from the beginning or just stick with what I have. I know that it's a weird question because Its my decision but I can't decide bcs for example I absolutely hated the horse race but I also don't want to end up with the bad ending. Any thoughts or similar experiences? Any answer will be appreciated.
