UK - Newly adopted BSH “buries” his food

Hi everyone,

I recently adopted a 1.4‑year‑old male BSH and ever since he came home yesterday he doesn’t eat his regular Sheba wet food. We tried feeding him that twice but he groans and tries to “bury” the food. We gave him some dry food, mainly Dreamies and he eventually did eat that.

What does the mean? Does this mean he doesn’t like the wet food or that it wants to save it for later? Should we buy a different brand of wet food? If so, which one?
