[TOMT][Anime] I’m going out on a limb

I was watching it on my laptop, I walked away, got distracted and my laptop died and I forgot the name.

First episode, girl protagonist walking home. Her and her mom have a conversation. Some strange men confront the mom or tried to kidnap her. There’s obviously secrets the mom is keeping from the daughter. Mom disappears and daughter can’t seem to put what happened together.

She goes to school and is either forced or plans to join an all male student council to help find her mom or something like that. That’s mostly all I remember.

This anime has some magic users, not sure if it was on Crunchyroll or HiDive
