playing retail without tww expansion

ive got only dragonflight expansion. didnt play retail for years and dont plan on buying midnight just yet. what activities can i do with my character?
i cant enter tww content afaik.

i know i can run dungeons and do bgs, but i want something doable solo in the open world, preferably some scaling mobs that i wont oneshot (i want to play the new devourer spec)
