22M wanting to get away from the North East

Hi everyone, I’m 22 and have lived in the NE US my entire life. I live just outside Boston Ma, and while it’s convenient driving a mile to the store, I do not like the rush hour traffic, people, weather, etc. I would like to leave and go somewhere warmer, but also where I can meet more people my age, and where everything seems more welcoming. Nearly everyone up here is self centered, etc. I would deeply miss my family, as anywhere I would like to move to would be far away from them, but I do not want to stay here just to continue to be close to them (I know I may regret this in the future should I decide to relocate.) My life is really comfortable right now, but everything is predictable, especially now that it’s winter and my seasonal depression has kicked in. I have a very stable job that pays well, a good living situation with affordable rent, but I feel like I need a drastic change. I do not really like my job anyway. I have about 100k in cash, and a high school diploma, and some transferable skills but I don’t know what it’s like trying to land a job or an apartment without a job in 2026.
