stopped trying to be a 'videographer' for my shop and it actually saved my sanity

📢 Marketing

I've been in e-com for a while, and the expectation to be a full-time video editor just to sell a few products is insane.

I hit a wall last month where I was spending 4 hours editing a Reel that got maybe 200 views. The ROI just wasn't there.

So I stopped filming everything manually. I started testing an ads agent workflow that basically takes my static product photos and generates the video assets for me. Instead of setting up lights and stressing over transitions, I just feed it the raw product shots and let it spit out the content.

It's not winning any Oscars--the AI voiceovers can be a bit generic if you don't tweak them--but it keeps the feed active without me crying over Premiere Pro.

Honestly, if you're a one-person shop, automating the "filler" content is the only way to survive. The algorithm is simply too hungry to feed it manually.
