Instant reverse-thrust fighter

a dedicated FA-off fighter-style ship designed especially for flying with assist off would be cool

(FA-off pilots, as a new player id love your thoughts)

it could have like, a way to near-instantly reverse thrust (Unless it already works like that ingame but I couldnt tell), I have found it always easier to just do a 180 to adjust speed when trying to fly assist off in my normal ships

to clarify, no I dont mean instantly reversing velocity

so, basically just a fighter that takes acceleration over max speed

they could counter it's maneouverability by just making its armor very weak and few hardpoints

it probably wouldnt be good for much when not flown by a really skilled player, however it would still be a lot of fun

could be explained by side-pointing thrusters that have vents on the back and front of the ship, with a mechanism that instantly changes thrust direction via a rotating panel at the split in the vent
