Should I make my laptop Duel boot? Predator helios neo 16 2023

so I was wondering if anyone knows the risk/benefit of a duel boot laptop and if I should make my laptop duel boot
I used fedora linux for 3 months and it changed my life , But I am a CS student and you need to get a lot of tools for class every other week which in windows takes 5 minutes while in fedora it takes 1hr to setup

so I decided to switch back to windows , ani my laptop feels so sloppy and boring to use , high ram usage for no reason , slow interface

and the only good option I see is to make duel boot, however I heard some people saying it might cause some problems to the laptop so I dont know if I should do it
