Are career coaches actually worth it?
I’m 27, currently working a desk job in IT support. I have a degree in computer science but never really ended up in the kind of tech career I imagined. Right after college, I took a safe job because it paid decently, and I needed to start paying off student loans.
Fast forward a few years, and I’m completely burned out, I feel stuck, unmotivated, and unsure what I actually want to do next.
I’m seriously considering seeing a career coach to help me figure out what direction to take and maybe get some clarity on my next steps. Has anyone actually gone to a career coach and found it useful?
