Any tips on communicating when I (30F) feel like my fiancé (50M) is a being selfish?

I 30F have been engaged to my fiancé (50M) for 1 month. We plan to elope next month without friends or family and have a big wedding later down the line.

Today specifically I am questioning how ready we are for this covenant of marriage we are getting ready to embark on. I spend weekends at his place but have been spending much more time getting ready to transition into married life with him. I was off Monday because of the storm but he does snow removal so he was out for about 36 hours. Let me add that this is something he does kinda by choice. He’s basically retired and sub his business but loves snow removal so much he can’t let it go. Well all Sunday evening/night and for the whole entire Monday he was out. This was not the plan for the weekend but due to a plethora of problems his 8 hour shifts turned to 36 hours. When he came home at 4 AM I am up waiting to greet him and love on him for the little time I have before needing to go to work but him being so tired and beat up he doesn’t even take a second to hug me, tell me he missed me or anything of that sort. I feel very hurt and disappointed.

When he first got in he went straight to shower but I met him in the bathroom and try hugging him to show affection after being away so long. He cuts me short…tells me to go lay down he’s gonna take a 5 minute shower and give me a quick kiss. I shrug this off because I know he’s drained but when he gets in bed he doesn’t even want me near because he’s so beat up and tired. I express to him that I’m sad because he put 36 hours into work but couldn’t even put one minute into watering our relationship quickly. He dismisses this and proceeds to go to sleep.

I am so frustrated by this because this is the second time in a week I feel like my attempts for affection and love are being dismissed because of something he’s more focused on regarding himself. First it was cooking now it’s sleep after extreme working. I know this may sound a little foolish but I’m just confused on how to communicate this and be heard. Help…
