Paying AHK monthly via JCC instead of bi-monthly bills?

Hi r/cyprus,

I was told that EAC allows monthly advance payments via the JCC app, with no fixed amount, and whatever you pay is deducted from the next bi-monthly bill, instead of waiting for the bill or setting up direct debit.

Has anyone used EAC this way? Does the credit apply correctly on the bill? Any issues or delays? Any downsides compared to direct debit?

Would appreciate hearing experiences from anyone who’s tried this.
