Productivity apps shouldn't be graveyards
TLDR: Follow the emojis π π β‘οΈ π£ πΆ
Look at your calendar, favorite app, and entire schedule right now. Here's what it looks like:
- A dump, literally, of everything you need/want to get done
- Insensitive deadlines that become impossible by end of day
- No regard for travel (you're supposed to teleport between locations?)
- No energy consideration (somehow you go from task A to Z without breaking)
- Personal time ignored (your boundaries don't exist in the system)
π It's 2026. You need a change. You need to stop repeating the same to-do lists and goals next year.
The real problem
Most apps store tasks. They don't help you complete them. They make you decide what's priority, when to do it and how it fits around everything else. So everything becomes "high priority", and you still don't know what to actually do first. The app became a graveyard because it never helped you act.
What actually works
Stop asking: "What should I prioritize?"
Start asking: "What can I do in the time, energy, and location I have right now?"
π A system (like Tiler App) can answer the second question:
- You have 90 minutes before your next meeting β the 3-hour task doesn't fit, the 30-min one does
- Something needs 4 hours and is due tomorrow β that's mathematically urgent, the system should flag it
- You're downtown today β surface errands nearby, not ones across town
- You're fried at 3pm β show admin work, not deep creative tasks
The system shows you what fits. You don't agonize over what's first.
What this looks like
β‘οΈYou dump tasks with deadlines. Tiler.app does this:
- Reads your calendar
- Factors in available time
- Accounts for location and travel
- Considers energy patterns
- Schedules into realistic slots
Meeting runs late? Timeline reshuffles automatically. Downtown for client call? Errands nearby get surfaced. Low energy afternoon? Admin tasks appear, not deep work.
You're not managing a list. You're following a workable plan.
π£ Most apps stop at "remember my tasks" because understanding constraints, time, location, energy, context, is harder to build. But that's why they become graveyards.
Productivity apps should help you complete tasks, not just store them. If you're still asking "what should I do first?" after opening your app, it's not working.
πΆ It's 2026. Your productivity tool should be smarter than a notebook. Try launch.tiler.app
