I was a catfish

This post isn’t about why I catfished, because honestly I’m still figuring that out myself. I’m only sharing this to say that most catfish aren’t just using influencers or public figures’ photos. A lot of catfish use pictures of people they know in real life, often from private accounts, which makes them much harder to trace.

There are so many ways people catfish without being caught that this subreddit doesn’t recognise too.
