Turning Question

Ok so im fairly new and have done alot of research.

however I've seen videos that teach you that when you are riding, and turning your shoulders should be in line with the board. "you shouldn't counter rotate your body"

your leading arm should be pointing where you want to go.

but now I started researching stance angles and I keep seeing that Posi posi or less duck stance angles allow you to open up or twist your hips more. which basically allows your upper body to not be inline with the board anymore.

so these two pieces of information seem counter intuitive and they confused me.

what is the actual proper technique to turn. shoulders inline with the board. or shoulders perpendicular-ish as in with a posi posi stand

my brain is hurting
