Plat is the new diamond?

Hey guys i have been gone from the game for half a year and with the inlux of jynxi repopulating the game i feel like the game is so bad right now. Did they change the gravity effect? Or the car turn? Or the boost? It seems something is off with the game. I have played at a diamond 3 level for 10 years and suddenly im plat 2 in threes and twos, it just seems people have gotten better or older player have come back and the rank desparity has gotten increasingly high.

So anyways I WAS CHAMP 1 ONCE IN MY PRIME IM NOT WASHED PLEASE MAN WHY CANT I EVEN DO AERIALS SOMETIMES.......
