AI makes you dumber

So they did a study, and divided a number of people into 3 groups. They all had to write essays. The first group only used chatgpt, the second was allowed to use any other website but AI was strictly forbidden and the 3rd group used only their brain. They then compared the brain's electrical activity levels between each group using EEG analysis. They found that people In group 1 had significantly less brain activity, weaker brain connectivity and lower levels of engagement on top of having worse information recall and poorer quality of work. The crazy part is that their levels still didn't return of that of the other groups having stopped using AI, which means there is a residual negative effect of using AI.
