What are the makeup brands that safe? (South East Asia)

So lately, I've been dying to do my own makeup. My Pinterest and Instagram is full of makeup tuts that I really want to try. My mom is actually pretty good with makeup and also my sisters. But, since I was closeted as a femboy to my family, I'm afraid asking them will make them feel weird transfem - even though my mom's sister is a transfem, I just don't feel this is a good time to come out to them.

So yeah back to the title,

Last month, I bought a full set of makeup kit on TikTokShop WITHOUT knowing the of makeup. It's a fool of me didn't learn how important that was since it will be used on my skin!! After I bought it, and open the package, go through checking one by one of the stuff, asking my transmasc friends about some makeup stuff I didn't know (some of them also wear makeup). They asked me what brand of makeup did I bought and I told them it's "LAMEILA". They quickly warn me about the makeup brand - saying things like this brand is not really safe and might contain mercury.

I thought they were joking until I did some research and found multiple legit sources especially FDA Philippines stating that the makeup brand I bought is not approved. I genuinely shocked as hell and quickly threw away that stuff. I asked them about what are the safe brands and they told me to google it myself lmao. And now I genuinely freaking confused as hell on how to start my own makeup kit.

I post this reddit to ask you guys about this since I know many of you are pretty knowledgeable about these stuff. I'm gonna list out some makeup product and I need you guys to fill it with the makeup brand thats you guys want to recommend and definitely SAFE.
