Have any fellow X-Philes seen the film "Hypnotic" (2023 - Ben Afflek)?

I just saw the trailer on Peacock+ and it looks, in the most basic ways, like a rip-off of the Pusher/Kitsunegari plot line.

At first glance this made it seem not worth watching. However, if it also stands on its own merits, or even augments what X-Files was getting at, I might give it a watch.

I'm curious about any personal experiences with the film (no spoilers, of course).
