Looking for casual play in Melbourne

Hey guys, I live just north Melbourne (Australia) and I'm fairly new to Magic (I tried a few years ago on Arena Standard and again now) and definitely like the game, but between work, chores and other duties I feel like something more relaxed would be better, so then I found out about Commander. Thing is, I don't have a deck nor a group to play (casually) with, and don't really know where to start. If anyone is willing enough to teach me/introduce me to the format or even just give me some tips it would be awesome!
