Coolest Christmas and The Masqeraude event shops kinda conflict with the gameplay style?

Like, I play forsaken for the chases, the gameplay and just tryna survive, but this whole Christmas event has been kinda annoying because not only did the Devs limit the amount of gingerbread gained, they also removed a ton of sources where Event currency could have been earned passively, like survivor victories. Not only that, but you need to play around 5-10 matches to get enough currency too due to the rng factor and currency spawns.

I know that the Devs were in a rush and were stretched thin, however when they said a "small update" I was expecting a few shop skins, not something I'd have to spend hours on completing.

Tl;Dr I think the event shops conflict with the fast paced gameplay
