Does anyone else feel like hip hop lost its hunger?

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.

It doesn’t feel like hip-hop is dead it just feels less honest.

The older music sounded like survival. Now a lot of it sounds like strategy.

I’m curious how others feel. Is this just nostalgia, or did something real change?
