on being stared at..
i cannot stand still at all. i make weird noises sometimes (rarely) out of nowhere, or just do random things that can be seen disrespectful or "disgusting" in a professional environment where etiquette is given strong importance. It is no brainer to say that i'hv done weird things and have embarrassed myself from time to time. so, when i find people glancing at me—even by strangers around me in a new environment—i feel like they are looking down on me? it really upsets me, and i keep thinking about what did i do wrong. i dont like being thought of as less—specifically now that i am an adult—i have a career and an image to maintain. does this feeling has something to do with being autistic, or, is it caused by something totally different—like: a bad childhood? anyway, whatever it is, it makes me soo soo self conscious. i feel so ugly, disgusting, inferior, and wish to just become normal. im tired. how to cope with this?
